Varanger museum består av de tre avdelingene Vardø museum, Sør-Varanger museum og Vadsø museum – Ruija kvenmuseum. Hovedansvarsområdene er henholdsvis pomorhistorie, grensehistorie og kvensk/norskfinsk historie.
